He may be one of the world’s biggest rap stars, but he still has to make sure his lawn is cut.  Lil’ Wayne’s Kenner mansion, currently for sale, has been cited for high grass and weeds according to city documents.

And, it’s not the first time that a violation has been written against the residence of the star, born Dwayne Michael Carter, Jr.  Keep reading to learn about the property troubles suffered by the Lollipop star.

Rapper has list of code violations

The San Francisco Chronicle reports that ‘Lil Wayne has been ordered to cut the grass at his New Orleans home after the rapper let the property’s lawns become unkempt.’

A list obtained from Kenner’s Code Enforcement Department showed it issued the citation to the rapper between Feb. 26 and March 2.

And, it’s not the first time that the star whose albums include Tha Carter, Rebirth and I Am Not A Human Being has been in trouble with the city.  Kenner documents show the latest code violation was at least the fifth written against the rapper’s New Orleans residence.  The city levied $3,635 in fines against the property in 2007 and 2008 for previous citations involving ‘grass, weeds, litter and stagnant pool.’

Court records show that other liens placed against the house were $3,373 in 2007 for Place Pontchartrain Homeowner’s Association dues and $190,216 in 2008 for unpaid Louisiana taxes in 2000, 2001, 2002 and 2003.  There was another lien placed against the property for $5.6 million in unpaid federal taxes from 2008 and 2009.

Lil’ Wayne is currently trying to sell the property after agreeing to buy a stunning Miami mansion for $11.6 mililon, as we reported recently.

Carter’s Kenner home boasts five bedrooms, five bathrooms and two half-baths and is situated on Rue De La Riviere.  It is listed by agent Lincoy Moliere as a ‘celebrity’ mansion with a ‘beautiful, spacious open floor plan.’
